He is a member of the Court of Master Sommeliers, Institute of Hospitality and London Food and Drink Bloggers. He's in the process of writing two books, one non-fiction and the other about New Zealand. He is a keen amateur photographer, wine taster, has worked four vintage harvests around the World and has acted as a guest speaker and as part of a panel of tasters/judges.
He is a regular contributor towards Decanter, Imbibe, Harpers and others and is part of the panel of tasters.
He is a judge at the Decanter World Wine Awards and the International Wine and Spirit Challenge.
