Payment and Delivery
Delivery charges
There is a standard price of £12.50 per delivery (not per case) to mainland UK destinations*. We subsidise the cost of wine delivery to ensure that you receive a quality service but at a civilised price. If you order multiple cases, it helps us!
*For Northern Ireland, please contact us first.
Delivery Destinations
We regret that we cannot deliver to the Channel Isles or any other destinations outside of the UK.
Normally orders are delivered within 4 working days. If you require your delivery on a specific date, please contact us and we’ll do our best. We regret that we can’t accept orders for delivery to an address containing a PO Box Number or from anyone whose own address contains a PO Box Number.
Daytime delivery
Our normal delivery times are 9am-7pm Monday to Friday and 9am-12pm on Saturday. If you are unlikely to be home during these hours, please specify an alternative delivery address, (i.e. work, relative, neighbour) separate to your payment address.
Damaged goods
It’s unusual for our wines to be damaged en-route, but we will replace or refund the price of goods damaged in transit, provided that you notify us within 3 days of receipt. Please check your wines as you receive them and keep the damaged goods for inspection.
Secure Payment
We use the Protx (www.protx.com) payment clearing system. Protx is the UK’s largest independent payments clearing provider. The transaction is carried out on Protx’s secure servers who have achieved the highest level of compliance under the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI). Therefore we adhere to the most stringent levels of fraud screening, ensuring that your details remain secure throughout the transaction process.
All credit card orders are processed and authorised live prior to dispatch, so please ensure that the details you give us are correct. We require you to supply the registered address of the Credit Card holder, which is used to validate your order with your selected credit card company.
Prices
All prices are in UK pounds sterling and include VAT at the standard rate, currently 17.5%.
